After being picked up from the centre of Matera and taking the 15 minute drive to our agriturismo home here in the countryside, we'll give you a brief introduction to our place before sitting you down leading you on a journey of discover through some of our Basilciata wines.

For Italians, wine is rarely drank without eating food. That's why we'll accompany your discovery of these wines of Basilicata with a delicious 'aperitivo' of local cheeses, cold cuts and other unique treats - including our very own organic olives and extra virgin olive oil.
Learn how to taste wine
Learning to taste wine is a never-ending journey in itself and it's something that you can improve with practice, time and (conveniently) experience. However, it can be useful to learn a little bit about where to start. That's why during this experience we'll share a little bit about the process of tasting a wine and understanding its story through visual, smell and taste analysis.
